Micro weddings and elopement photography

Planning to elope or having a smaller wedding? Maybe you’re looking for shorter wedding photography coverage?

If the idea of standing up in front of a crowd to say “I do” makes your knees shake then a micro wedding will be right up your street! Are you planning to run away together, just the two of you? Or maybe you just adore the idea of a smaller wedding for your most favourite people! Perhaps you’re going for the full shebang but don’t fancy having a full day of wedding photography… whatever your reason for landing on this page is, I’ve got your back!

Weddings come in all shapes and sizes. The sheer variety of them is one of the reasons I love my job so much! Smaller, intimate weddings are super lovely to be a part of. I don’t change anything about the way I work, I’m still shooting in that natural, informal way you love, except I get to feel even more a part of the family than I usually do! That’s a pretty special feeling.

From short and sweet registry office ceremonies to church services with 30 guests or a romantic elopement on a windswept hill. However and wherever you choose to say your vows I guarantee that your wedding will still be full of love and joy. And it just so happens that love and joy are two of my favourite things in the world!

Micro + Small Wedding Photography Packages

I like to keep this part nice and simple. No one needs more complications in their wedding planning right?!

My 2.5 hour package starts from £850 for local (central Birmingham) weddings. This is enough time to cover you arriving at your venue, the ceremony and some (in)formal family groups afterwards with some couple photos too!

If you want me to hang out with you for a bit longer, or you want me to head over to the pub with you afterwards (cheers to that!) or to have a longer portrait session, then I offer three and four hour packages.

Having a few extra hours means we can fit in a slightly longer couple’s portrait session too. Don’t panic, that doesn’t mean I’m going to drag you away and force you into awkward poses. Not my style at all! It just gives us chance to do a bit of exploring, find some brilliant locations and you two get to have a bit of a breather and revel in the fact that you just got married (yeah you did!). While you’re doing that I make you giggle and take a few photos. This bit of extra time is perfect if you’re having a city centre wedding and fancy a cool, urban backdrop to photos of the two of you. You could even think about having a ‘first look’ and getting some pre-ceremony portraits done - that way you just get to chill out afterwards and be with your loved ones!

All of my short coverage / micro wedding packages include the good stuff:

  • An initial video / phone consultation to get to know each other and you can tell me all about your wedding plans. No obligation to book, I’ll take any excuse to chat weddings!

  • An awesome welcome pack with mag filled with top wedding planning tips

  • Me! Photographing your wedding in my fun, natural, creative and unobtrusive style.

  • Your images edited in my own signature style (as you’ve seen on my website).

  • A private gallery where you can download your awesome photographs in glorious high resolution along with web-optimised photos to print & share as you wish.

  • A second password-protected gallery to share with family & friends (FREE downloads for everyone!)

  • A slideshow of your photographs set to fully licensed music (guaranteed to make you emotional. I recommended having a glass of bubbly to hand)

  • A ‘hot off the press’ SNEAK PEEK! This will keep your excitement levels in check whilst I work on the rest of your photos.

  • A brand new friend (me!), who - rather handily - knows a thing or two about weddings. I can also chat for hours about cats, houseplants and food...

Whatever shape or form your smaller wedding takes I would love to be a part of it. Once you’ve booked me I’m all yours. We can come up with loads of ideas together that fit in with your plans and make sure you’ve got the best coverage of the best day!

If informal and colourful wedding photography is your thing then I’m your gal! I would love to chat to you about your wedding plans.
