Wedding photographer, cat foster mum, travel lover and the face behind Kate Jackson Photography. I've spent the last 10+ years photographing weddings in a way that feels relaxed, natural and genuinely enjoyable, creating photographs that tell the story of your day without taking you away from it.
Every wedding is made up of hundreds of little moments.
It's about finally having everyone you love in one place.
The hugs you've waited months for. Your grandparents watching you say your vows. The friends who'll have everyone crying with laughter during the speeches. The kids running wild on the dance floor.
And of course, the two of you.
The portraits you'll hang on your walls. The confetti. The happy tears. The moments you'll barely remember until you see them in a photograph.
Those moments deserve to be remembered just as much as each other.
That's why I photograph weddings the way I do.
LIKE A MATE WITH A CAMERA
Not because I'll be stealing the mic or trying to join your bridal party (don't worry!), but because I want everyone to feel comfortable enough to simply enjoy themselves.
I know how quickly a wedding day flies by, so I won't keep you away from your guests for any longer than necessary. Family photos, confetti and a few relaxed portraits? I'll gently take the lead, keep things moving and then send you straight back to the celebrations.
The rest of the day, you'll hardly have to think about me. I'll be keeping an eye on everything that's happening around you, so when your gallery arrives, you'll discover moments you never even knew happened.
