dOCUMENTARY, informal and fun family photos
Like most people my first experiences of photography came from flicking through boxes of family photographs. Seeing younger versions of my parents (always hilarious) and aunts and uncles captured, in that moment, forever. As I grew up my love of photography came from taking pictures of my family. The photos were nothing special, none of them were posed. But they are treasured. Simple snapshots of my family being their wonderful, often messy and chaotic selves. The everyday moments that make up our lives. It’s that feeling, that emotion and nostalgia I bring to my photography today.
I’m guessing you’ve got a phone packed full with photos of your little ones. There’s one thing missing though… you! Your loved ones want to see you in the photographs and that’s where I come in. I document the everyday. Those moments of family life that make up your ‘normal’. The fleeting moments that make us smile, laugh and even cry in frustration (oh hey 2 year old, I’m talking to you there!)
I photograph you and your family just as you are. At home getting messy with paints and play dough. Running around your garden. Playing in the park and stomping in puddles. It’s you doing you and me capturing it all. Remember, get those pets involved too! I’m not just a cat fan, I love gerbils, rabbits, dogs, guinea pigs... I probably draw the line at pet tarantulas though! I can just about cope with Incy.
FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY IN BIRMINGHAM
family session 1
Perfect for an afternoon out or if you’ve got babies or young children. We’ll start at your home before heading out for a ramble in the woods or a trip to the park. For babies and newborns we’ll stay in the warm at home
for the entire session.
Take place Monday - Friday (weekend availability is limited).
1.5 - 2 hours of family photography.

The tiny moments we don’t always think to document but are such important memories. From the first day at school to a regular Sunday together, whatever you’d like to capture, I’d love to chat to you about my day in the life photography session.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
I’ll be with you from the moment the kids jump out of bed right up until you’ve read them their bedtime story. We could head out on an adventure or stay at home and enjoy some activities.

day in the life - Half day
This is perfect for documenting an afternoon out or a first day at school. Imagine capturing all the fun and anticipation while they’re getting ready and doing the school run for the first time. It’s such a great memory for you all to look back on.
